Fundraising Assistant
(Isle of Wight ) Permanent, full time position £17,500 p/a |

We are working with a leading charity on the Isle of Wight to find a talented Fundraising Officer to focus on bringing in new revenue streams, sponsors and regular donors.
This exciting and challenging role will take a holistic approach to fundraising including;

- Office based outward bound calling
- Account management of existing donors
- Regular liaison with friends of the charity
- Research and identification of relevant charitable trusts and grants
- Research and identification of new events opportunities
- Supporting the events management team with fundraising activity
- Administrative duties including data input, correspondence and database management
- Digital duties including creating engaging website and social media content

- Excellent written communication skills (minimum grade C at GSCE level)
- General office administration duties including confidence using the MS Office suite
- Experience of using databases (Salesforce experience highly desirable but not essential)
- Desire to work within a charitable organisation
- Skills with any of the following; sales, marketing, promotion of products and / or events
- Ability to create engaging content including newsletters
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills
