Chef team required for this brand new venue!
This new restaurant is set to open on the Isle of Wight coastline at the end of February 2019, and now that the kitchens are fully kitted out, it’s time to bring in a talented Chef team to put this new business on the map.
We are looking for a confident Head Chef and Sous Chef initially who will then help in the process of building a full brigade. Individual applicants are very welcome, however if there is a Head / Sous duo who would like to apply you will have an advantage. Private luxury dining and function experience will be highly desirable, along with a history of delivering 5-star standard service and quality.
This is one of 3 new venues opening on the Isle of Wight under the ownership of a well-respected national brand. With over 20 venues in the UK and new projects launching soon in the Mediterranean region, this unique hospitality business can offer fantastic long-term opportunities for the right individuals.
These are permanent positions in a year-round venue, with an enviable location and a customer base already established via an exciting national brand. The roles will offer creative freedom and opportunities to create new and distinct menus as each venue in the company is encouraged to develop its own distinct style. The Chef team will be encouraged to source local produce for menus, with a focus on fresh, quality food. There is likely to be strong focus on fish and seafood from local suppliers to reflect the beautiful coastal location.
The Head Chef and Sous Chef will need to be highly professional with substantial experience of running busy kitchens, ideally to award winning standards. Applicants will need to demonstrate leadership skills and have experience of training and motivating a successful team.
Building a new restaurant from scratch will take enthusiasm and exceptional commitment to achieving high standards, applicants will be expected to have a keen eye for detail in order to fully control the operations of a busy kitchen environment.
