The game is afoot! We are going a bit Sherlock Holmes in our search for a local web developer / PHP programmer, leaving no trail unexplored, no stone un-turned to find the right fit. It may be a competitive market for developer skills, but as this role has a great deal to offer, with long term prospects, competitive remuneration and exciting, innovative projects to get stuck into, applying for the post should be elementary!
This Isle of Wight based tech firm is driven by design, with a diverse portfolio of local and international projects. They are focused on infrastructure and technology design for eCommerce, large scale internal corporate IT systems and CRM development projects and they now need someone with a clear understanding of the programming and software development sector to take up a position in the team, focusing on 'back-end' PHP - with current in house packages including Laravel, CraftCMS, ExpressionEngine and CodeIgniter.
With new projects rolling out we require a capable individual who can pick up workloads quickly and move forward independently, as a result we will not be able to consider apprentice or entry level applicants at this stage. Combining innovation and technology to design robust digital solutions, can you keep up with this ambitious development team?
The role will be a fixed term contract initially, with hourly rates to match, but please be aware this role is likely to be permanent within a year and we are therefore keen to secure someone who will be attracted to the benefits of a permanent employed position.
