That's right, another fantastic eatery on the Isle of Wight is looking for a talented Chef to join their team, this time acting as Sous / Second Chef! But with competition high locally for skilled Chefs, what can this venue offer?
First and foremost is atmosphere, this restaurant is a long-established Island favourite and the key to their ongoing success is an exceptionally relaxed, friendly and upbeat dining culture. This venue has home grown some of the Islands most successful Chefs and the team is very well respected with plenty of top restaurateurs from around the Island choosing to attend this venue on their nights off! But, the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere is not just reserved for guests, this team has also created a dynamic, supportive work environment – as a result the staff are a close-knit unit who love what they do and it shows, in the service, the food and the reviews!
The Isle of Wight is full of incredible places to dine with high quality produce and service, and this is no exception. The food here is created from fresh local sources where possible, and with a strong focus on fish and seafood to reflect the coastal location, we are looking for a Chef who knows how to handle fresh fish, and create stunning dishes with a distinct coastal flavour.
With a talented Head Chef already in post, we are looking for a confident and experienced professional Chef to become second in command, taking on full responsibility when the Head Chef is off site, this means we need the following skills;

- Sound understanding of stock management

- Creative and able to work with daily specials
- A clear passion for high quality, beautifully presented food
- Strong references
